My institution has subscriptions, how do I join and create my own account?

If your institution has trials or subscriptions to Practise Every Question products and you want to continue to access them here, you can join using these two options:

1. Contact a Super Admin or Teacher Admin for your institution and ask them to add you to their list of users.

2. Go to this link and register yourself. This will send an email to the Super Admin to approve your request: www.therevisionbutton.co.uk/peq/joincentre. This is a security measure to ensure your school’s subscriptions are secure.

If you are unsure of your institution’s Super Admin email customerservice@therevisionbutton.co.uk

 What’s a Super Admin?

Each institution with subscriptions must have a Super Admin. The Super Admin will be able to validate the details of new users in your institution’s account. The Super Admin role is not labour-intensive and takes up very little time. All it means is that the Super Admin will be able to validate the details of new users in an institution’s Practise Every Question account.

 What’s a Generic Teacher?

If you have taken a trial or subscription to Practise Every Question, you will have received a Generic Teacher username and password in your order confirmation email. This log in can be distributed to other teachers who are interested in reviewing the product. A Generic Teacher will not be able to print. Should you wish to add any personalisation, like your own playlists, you are strongly advised to set up a personal Teacher / Teacher Admin account for each user.

 Why can't I print?

If you are using a product within a Trial period or you are logged in as a Generic Teacher you will not be able to print. The print function is available for full subscriptions and all other user roles.

How do I subscribe to a Practise Every Question title?

What technical requirements do I need to use Practise Every Question?

Practise Every Questions runs on the internet, you do not need any software to run this website, just an up-to-date web browser like Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. The question screen has been designed to work best when your screen is set to a minimum of 1152 x 864 pixels. However this will vary depending on the size and aspect ratio of your monitor or whiteboard.

 How can I create playlists?

To create your own personal playlists of groups of questions or part questions go to Playlists:

1.         Click create new playlist and give it a name.

2.         Add questions or part questions from the question bank by using the icon next to the title or on the question screen.

3.         To edit or reorder your playlist come back to the playlists tab, click Edit, and drag the questions into the desired order.

4.         Click Play to play your new playlist.

 How do I manage users?

Users can be managed simply via the Manage area of the website. Select Manage from the menu and then click on the Users button. In this area the Super Admin is able to add, edit, delete and block users. A Teacher Admin user is able to add further users and upgrade a Teacher to a Teacher Admin. Teachers are unable to manage users.

The Question Bank filters aren’t responding in Internet Explorer 7

On the very rare occasion the filters are not causing the question list to refresh you may have to reset your browser completely and try again. To do this, go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Reset

Note that this will delete your temporary internet files (like your history), disable add-ons (like customer toolbars), and resets any other settings you may have made to your browser.

I can see my playlist but my questions aren't appearing within it

If you have created a playlist using questions from a product that you have a subscription or trial to, but subsequently your institution's access has finished then the questions will not appear within your playlist.
